| On A Rainy Day |
Dear Mr Simon...
My dear dear Chap... I have perused the recommended site and downloaded 'On a rainy day'... now why on earth would I do that??? The answer my friend is that I KNOW it will be a track filled with excruciatingly exciting audio delight... I am now going to press PLAY... hmmmm... the delightfully beautiful late 60s tricklings in the vocals and the astounding easy listening sentiments in the beautifully flourescent backing are a real treat for the ears.
Listening to 'On a rainy day' .... it's very much like being sent a box of chocolates when you actually don't like chocolates only to find that you're addicted on first taste... Switzerland produces some of the finest chocolates in the world but on this occasion, the skill and ingenuity in this box of delights belongs firmly across the border.
I love this track for its lyrics and its sixties blessings... it's when you get to the transcendental JOS solo that you can accept that you're actually flying first class on a magic carpet ride. Lovely song JOS... you da man!!!" (Colin Lynch, R Cat Tearoom, 30.11.2004)
Wonderful
A great song with atmosphere and impressive vocals. It sounds really good - I like it. Great recording too. (Serious-Music, Mixposure, 29.1.2006)
