Ursprünglich war der Song der erste Titel auf meinem Album "Like A Muppet In Your Hand" von 2002. Drei Jahre später, in 2005, fragte ich Gary, was er von dem Text hielte. Seine Antwort war die jetzt vorliegende revidierte Fassung des Textes.
Für die Neufassung des Songs benutzte ich eine andere Instrumentierung. Zunächst einmal möchte ich die Jon Bonham Bass drum aus Propellerhead Reason Drum Refills, die ich benutzte. Die anderen Drumsamples sind aus Battery 2 von Native Instruments. Der Taurus Moog Bass stammt von Spectrasonics Trilogy. Einer der Sounds, der sich nach verzerrter Rhythmusgitarre anhört ist "DistFeedback" aus dem Yamaha FS1R. Diesen Sound habe ich schon in der Vergangenheit oft benutzt. Der Sound der Nashville Gitarre entstammt dem Roland VG-88, wie auch alle anderen Gitarren, die ich hier mit einer Ibanez RG-1520 gespielt habe. Der Gesang wurde gedoppelt aufgenommen mit einem Rode NT1-A Mikrophon. Als Sequenzer habe ich Cubase SX 2.2.0 benutzt.

The magic of the mix
I didn't recognize a VSti in this work. Markus Hofmann told me, this track reminds him very much of Icehouse's old tunes. This song has a very spatial mix, absolutely tough groove work, and I love the distortion guitars, sax, the bridges of the song, the funny synth fills and your voices, of course! Great Album Title
Sorry for focusing on the album title but it's brilliant...like a muppet in your hand haha. Anyway, i like this...the percussion is brilliant and overall the track has a great sound...very rich and full. Lyrically it's very engaging, it's an easy song to enjoy as it has great rythmn and music. Totally class production, top marks. (Solipsism, Mixposure, 16.8.2005)

Wow!!! Great drum stuff, I love it Simon, this is wonderful, it is Piperon favourite drum beat. And the overdriven guitar is so arrogant, pushing the rhythms to a limit.
And I am trying out Reason 3 now and I hope I can get such powerful and sensation sound system. Gosh, I think I need to hijack your sound system by today.
This is rather cool and sweet music about love and it is so persistance and irresistable. So much fun too by listening to this track. Wonderful and beauiful melody line and super saxaphone enlighting my soul now. Is that from Alexis (AvenE).
